THE STORY OF OLD HARRY'S PALE SAIL.

Blue skies, wispy clouds and gentle waves lapping against the hull. Sailing around ‘Old Harry’s Rock’ in Dorset is a popular summer activity – where legend has it the pillaging pirate and suave smuggler Harry Paye stashed his loot.

Did you know?

The notorious pirate Harry Paye intercepted hundreds of French ships for gold, wine and exotic fruits in the late 14th and early 15th century, which annoyed them a bit. He brought his bounty back to the good people of Poole (for a small fee of course).
