Dig out your shades and dust off your sun hats – the Hall & Woodhouse Dorset Beer Festival is returning on Saturday 23 June. Hopefully it will be sunny.
The festivities will be taking place at the home of Badger beers, the Hall & Woodhouse brewery, located in Blandford St. Mary in the beautiful Dorset countryside.
Drink responsibly – don’t spill any of our characterful beers.
What more could you want than a day sampling our diverse range of Badger beers? Well, more expertly-brewed beer of course. So, as well as all the flavoursome Badger beers available, there will also be over 50 others on offer from Dorset’s and the country’s best breweries and microbreweries.
A font of beer (knowledge).
Pop by and say hello to the teams at Abyss Brewing, 8 Arches, Cerne Abbas, Gritchie Brewing Company, Yeovil Ales, Dorset Brewing Company and Hopback Brewery, who will be serving up a selection of their very own tasty beers, as well as answering any questions you may have.
Not just for beer fans.
Cider lover? No fear. There will also be plenty of refreshing ciders on tap, and if you love sparkling wine, the classic and much-loved tipple, perry wine will be making its awaited comeback too.
As if this wasn’t enough, you can enjoy a host of other activities, whether you come with family, friends or even the little ones. We’ve sorted out some fantastic live music for the day, as well as lots of fun competitions you can get involved in and of course, ample delicious food to sink your teeth into.
There’s more to a Badger beer.
Get to know our Head Brewer, Toby Heasman, who will be on-hand to answer questions about Badger and the brewery. And, if you’d like to experience our passion for crafting characterful beers first-hand, you can take a look around our seventh generation, family-owned brewery on one of our special beer festival brewery tours.
Great beer for good causes.
The best thing about it all? The Hall & Woodhouse Dorset Beer Festival is for a superb cause. All profits made from the festival will be donated to local air ambulance charities, The Thames Valley, The Great Western, The Hampshire and Isle of White, Wiltshire, Dorset & Somerset, Devon, London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.
Last year alone we raised more than £8,000 for Together for Short Lives, and we reckon we can lift the bar even higher this year (pun intended). So, pick up your tickets today and raise a glass to raising funds for charity this June.
We’ll see you in the beer tent.
