Escapes To Dorset – Terms & Conditions
The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.

- You will be entered into the prize draw by completing the information on the competition landing page at badgerbeers.com/escapes-to-dorset.
- The Promoter of this prize draw is Hall & Woodhouse Limited of The Brewery, Blandford St Mary, Dorset DT11 9LS.
- Only one entry per customer is permitted.
- The opening date for entries is 27th September 2021. The closing date for all entries is 23:59 on 28th February 2022. Entries received after 23:59 on 28th February 2022 will not be accepted.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.
- A winner will be chosen by a random draw supervised by an independent person after 28th February 2022.
- The winners will receive a one-night stay at one of Hall & Woodhouse’s Dorset Managed House inns, for one guest and one other person with dinner (any starter, main & dessert per head), plus £50 drinks, bed and breakfast.
- There are 20 prizes available.
- A list of Hall & Woodhouse inns in Dorset can be seen at https://www.hall-woodhouse.co.uk/our-pubs/. Please note the prize is only redeemable in Managed Houses.
- The inn and dates offered to winners will be at Hall & Woodhouse’s discretion and subject to availability.
- Stays must be within 6 months of receipt of the prize.
- The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) from 28th February 2022. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 7 days of being notified by the Promoter or cannot make the date provided, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
- Winners will be required to bring a recognised form of photo ID with them and may be required to prove their age.
- Guests will need to make their own travel arrangements to and from the venue.
- There is an option for guests attending the prize to extend their stay at the chosen inn at their own expense, this should be arranged directly with the inn and is subject to availability.
- Once your booking is made for a date, it is non transferrable. We may ask you to submit dinner menu selections in advance.
- In the event of Covid travel restrictions, we will work with you to find an alternative date.
- In the event of you or any of your party presenting symptoms, or a positive Covid-19 test, please do not attend.
- Should the winner need to cancel their date due to them having Covid-19 symptoms / close-contact / a positive test, as much notice as possible must be provided. Hall & Woodhouse will endeavour to rebook for another date in the near future. Please note proof will be required, and this only applies to the winner and not their guests.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse service to anyone that is behaving inappropriately.
- In the event of any breakages that are considered malicious, we will recover costs from the prize winner.
- The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
- The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
- The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
- The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the prize draw which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.
- Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.
- The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
- The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to both Hall & Woodhouse, and Thinking Juice, who are the impartial judging panel for this competition. - Hall & Woodhouse also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
