Raise a glass for a great cause
Join us this summer for the return of the Hall and Woodhouse Dorset Beer Festival – a feel-good celebration of brilliant brews, live music, and delicious food at the Badger Brewery in Blandford. With a wide range of beers and ciders to try – from Badger favourites and fresh Outland releases to standout guest brews – it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable couple of days. And the best part? Every penny of profit goes to the Huntington’s Disease Association, a charity close to our hearts.

Cheers to great beer and great causes
This year’s Hall & Woodhouse Dorset Beer Festival promises to be legendary, with 45 exceptional beers and ciders confirmed. On the cask front, we’re proud to feature a full range of Badger favourites, including Tangle Foot, Fursty Ferret, Golden Champion, Golden Glory, Blandford Fly, Cranborne Poacher, Winter’s Tale, Rust & Reverie, and our latest launch, Red Rascal. From classic flavours to seasonal specialties, there’s something to suit every taste.
On the keg side, our bold Outland range takes the spotlight, featuring West Coast IPA, Hazy IPA, Tropical Pale Ale, our new Session Pale Ale, Irish-style Stout, and Helles Lager – perfect for those who love their beer with a modern twist.
Alongside our own brews, you’ll find an exciting mix of guest ales and ciders from outstanding local and regional breweries. Expect crisp bitters, hop-forward IPAs, and refreshing ciders from names like Theakston’s, St Austell, Wadworth, Palmers, Purity, Wye Valley, Oakham Ales, and many more.
And don’t forget our Beer Barrel Raffle! Tickets are just £5 for 5 chances to win a wheelbarrow full of Outland beer – available on the day and from our brewery shop in the lead-up.
Find us at the Badger Brewery, Blandford St Mary, Blandford Forum, DT11 9LS

Supporting a cause close to our hearts
All profits from the event will go to The Huntington’s Disease Association, inspired by H&W team member Alice Jewer’s personal story.
Alice shares, “My mother’s diagnosis came as a massive shock, but the charity was there for us every step of the way. In a time which can be extremely confusing and isolating, The Huntington’s Disease Association team were welcoming and really understand what individuals and families are going through. The donation from this event will help things like research and provide so many families like mine with essential care and support, and a sense of community which makes a huge difference to their lives.”
Heidi McLaughlin, Visitor & Experience Manager, adds, “Everyone at H&W was moved by Alice’s story and inspired by her family’s determination to create a positive outlook around the condition. The Huntington’s Disease Association is a brilliant charity which provides a valued member of the team with constant support, and we’re proud to give something back.”
The Huntington’s Disease Association is a UK-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Huntington’s disease — a rare, hereditary neurodegenerative disorder that causes progressive deterioration of the brain’s physical, cognitive, and emotional functions. The charity provides expert support and advice to individuals and families living with the condition, while also funding research, raising public awareness, and campaigning for better care and services.
Through education, advocacy, and a strong network of regional care advisors, the Huntington’s Disease Association works tirelessly to ensure that no one faces Huntington’s alone.
