Two people toasting with a fan of Badger and Outland bottles outdoors in autumn

Bold and hoppy

with crisp bitterness

Powerful, proud, and unflinching - the Iron Hart stands tall among the ancient trees. Rooted in strength and sharpened by instinct, it’s a creature of quiet courage and noble resolve.

This 5.2% Pale Ale is brewed with a firm malt base and a bold blend of hops for a beer that’s pale yet full-bodied, and unashamedly proud of its strength. It’s a bold beer with a noble soul - and just enough bite to keep things interesting.

Impressive little number. Probably my favourite Badger bottled ale.

Bottle of Badger Iron Hart and a full pint glass on a wall in a garden

A refreshing and strong pale ale that is very smooth with a hint of hoppiness. Full bodied and quite sweet. Very pleasant ale. Very drinkable.

A hand holds a bottle of Badger Iron Hart Pale Ale in a back garden setting, with a wooden fence, green grass, and trees in the background. The person's legs and feet are visible in the lower left, wearing black socks with red toes.

Hoppy and biscuity - a well balanced pale ale!

An Earthy rich flavour & with usual pale ale hoppy-ness

FAQs

Questions brewing? You'll find plenty of helpful answers in our FAQs.

We believe Iron Hart is suitable for vegetarians and vegans, as no animal-derived ingredients are intentionally used in the brewing process. However, we are not certified by a vegan society and do not routinely test to verify vegan status, so we cannot make an official vegan claim.

At present, we are unable to confirm whether the beer is gluten-free. As gluten is a regulated allergen, confirming a gluten-free claim requires laboratory testing of every batch. While we are exploring options to introduce this capability in the future, we cannot currently guarantee or validate the gluten content.

The bold character of this pale ale pairs beautifully with roast beef or aged cheddar - flavours with enough strength and determination to stand up for themselves.

Our bottled ales are best enjoyed lightly chilled, around 10-14°C. Serving Iron Hart too cold can mask some of the flavours, while a slightly warmer temperature helps bring out its full character.

A new addition to the Badger family, Iron Hart has quickly earned its place in the line-up. It's brewed year-round and available online and in most national grocers.

We'd love to see Iron Hart on the bar too, but with limited cask space in our pubs, we can't pour every beer. Instead, we use our cask lines to showcase a range of Badger classics and seasonal favourites. You'll usually find Iron Hart chilled and ready to enjoy in bottle form in the fridge though!
